Dear Lord:
 
Today I noticed the world around me.
 
Today I saw the blessings You give so freely.
 
Today I was gently reminded of Your love,
 
And ever grateful that You do love me.
 
Today I remembered Your promises.
 
Today I remembered Your hope,
 
Your great gift of Grace,
 
Today I remembered...You.
 
I don't know if I say thank You enough.
 
I don't know if I remember enough.
 
I don't know if I pause enough to hear,
 
Your soft whispers of unconditional love.
 
Today I pause,
 
Today I remember,
 
Today I thank You.
 
I thank you Lord for my life,
 
For my children,
 
For my spouse.
 
I thank you Lord for the blessings,
 
The constant reminders that You are there,
 
And that You truly care.
 
I thank you for the love that has taught me to love,
 
For the faith that has given me my faith,
 
For the people, your missionaries, who you place in my way,
 
For the miracle of the allowance to live another day,
 
To take in and treasure all You have created,
 
To smile and know that I am of worth and loved,
 
For the relationships You have given to me,
 
That teach me all You want me to know and be,
 
For all of the miracles You have bestowed upon humanity,
 
For all of the love You have bestowed upon humanity,
 
For the patience You show to all humanity.
 
Lord I thank You, for taking the time to show me,
 
For taking the time to care about one little person.
 
For reminding me, that in You, I become better,
 
Kinder, more generous, more loving, more accepting,
 
More loving...
 
Lord, Today I thank You for all You have given me,
 
For all You will give to me,
 
For all You will not give to me.
 
Lord, Today I thank You, for helping me find the words to express,
 
That my heart belongs to You.
 
Amen.
